Hot Stone Therapy is a terrific addition to your MASSAGE or REIKI practice. It will enhance your own present skills, your sense of touch, and support the greater needs of your client.

Offering Hot Stone Massages or REIKI is a very easy going, gentle way of assisting your client to deepen their relaxation level; inviting calm, peace and happiness. The healing benefits are ongoing. There is a warmth and energy arising from the stones that will relax your hands and enhance your energy as well.

Hot Stone Therapy is a popular natural therapeutic technique that promotes pain relief, healing, and energy alignment. You will utilize hot stones to heat your client’s body, relax muscles & ease stress, while also supporting greater ease in elimination of harmful toxins and body waste.

The stones calmly bring your client into a parasympathetic state as it improves general blood circulation through vasodilation.

What happens during a Hot Stone Massage or Hot Stone Reiki Session?

A hot stone session can be offered as a Massage or Reiki Therapy session. You will see how soothing this experience can be for your clients right away.

During a Hot Stone Massage Therapy or Hot Stone Reiki Therapy session, smooth, flat basalt stones are warmed in a stone roaster in a water bath then placed on specific parts of the client’s body. The stones are made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat. Hot massage stones are heated to between 110-120 degrees Fahrenheit (Approx. 43-49 degrees Celsius).

You will be fully trained to offer a Therapeutic Hot Stone Massage or REIKI by the time you have completed this training.

This training is available for individuals already trained as RMT’s or Reiki Practitioners (Level I, II or III)

You can claim your fees as Educational Tax Credits and in most cases this training can be used towards 30 additional education credits needed for your ongoing work. Each Online Course is $599.

Until March 31 st , 2022, we are offering this training at $449.

Tutor Support and Assignments
You will have a Tutor who will be there to support you along the way if needed. You will need to write one short essay, complete one quiz, and follow-up with eight (8* client Hot Stone Therapy Session Reports for review.
